Michelle Bocker is a designer and new media artist who finds inspiration in the intricate patterns of natural systems and the beauty of language. Through her approach to creativity, she harnesses the power of poetic computing and artificial intelligence to translate her observations into immersive multimedia experiences, whether in the form of artworks, short films, video games and installations.
Michelle's artistic journey is an exploration of the constantly evolving landscape of creative expression. With each project, she challenges the traditional boundaries of art, pushing the limits of what is possible in the digital realm. Her work is a deep dive into the transformative potential of technology in the artistic process, examining how it can enrich and expand the creative landscape.
At a time when the distinctions between the natural and the artificial are increasingly fluid and cultural inclusion is vital, Michelle Bocker's artistic research revolves around Non-Western cultures in contemporary media art and the beauty of nature.
Her educational career began in Mexico City, holding a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Design at the Centro de Investigaciones de Diseño Industrial of the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México,
CIDI-UNAM. In 2019, she continued her studies at the Köln International School of Design,
KISD and graduating in 2022 with a Bachelor of Integrated Studies in Design.
For her Thesis
