How can pain be made visible to physicians? Pain is an unplesasant sensory and emotional experience associated with actual or potential tissue damage (International association for the study of pain, 1979). New technologies in combination with smart algorithms offer new possibilities to measure and collect pain data in order to monitor human health.
The findings of the latest communication technologies, such as VirtualReality, can provide more accuracy in treatments for patients with aneurological disorder, thus improving the quality of care by bridging thecommunication gap between patients and physicians.
Therefore, I explored the possibilities of visualizing the pain in a virtual space so the physicians can interact with it and have a better understanding of the patient’s body, providing further insights into the current state of the patient.
